This week is the Square Lake Triathlon north of Stillwater, MN.  The short course is on Saturday with a 1/2  mile swim, 18 mile bike and 5 mile run.  The long course is on Sunday with a 1.2 mile swim, 54 mile bike, 13 mile run.  Online registration closes at midnight, Sept 5 but there is race day registration.  Saturdays event begins at 8:00 a.m..  Sundays event starts at 7:30 a.m.

Online Registration for This Saturday’s Stockyard Days in New Brighton will close at midnight tonight(Thursday)  There will still be registration available on race day.

St. Paul Triathlon has been the premier multisport event in the St. Paul for years.  The swim takes place at Lake Phalen, The closed bike course uses Wheelock Parkway and the run circles Lake Phalen.  There is a Sprint and International course.

Saturday, July 20 is the date set for the 7th annual 2013 Paul Bunyan Triathlon in Bemidji Minnesota.  The event consist of a short course – 1/2 mile swim, 12 mile bike and a 3 mile run and a long course – 1 mile swim, 21 mile bike and 5 mile run.

Bemidji is the first city on the Mississippi and the birthplace of Paul Bunyan.  It is a great to visit anytime of the year.

The 2013 date of the Paul Bunyan Triathlon has been selected.  The date is July 20.  Please put it in your datebook.

Center City is the place to be this weekend for Center City Days.  This will be the 1st annual Center City 5K and 1/4 mile Kids Fun Run.
The event starts at 8:30.  Online registration closes at midnight Thursday.  There will be race day registration.

The Kids Fun Run will be 1/4 mile starting at the fire Hall for children 10 and under. All Kids Fun Run participants will receive a medal.
