Brian Sames won the 2011 Kawalskis 10 miler on Sunday, November 6, 2011 with a time of 56:19.   Melissa Gacek won the female division with a time of 1:00:51

It was a beautiful morning in White Bear Lake for the annual Jump to It 5K/10K.  In the 10K, Anthony Peter won with a 34:45 and Andrea Adams won with 37:54.

In the 5K, Wynn Davis won the men’s division in 16:20 and Carrie VahHouten won the female division with 25:20

There were fast times today at the Chippewa 50K Ultra Trail run and 10K trail run in New Auburn, WI. In the 50K, Brian Peterson from Minneapolis broke the 4 hour mark with 3:59:39.  Christi Nowak from Duluth won the female division in 4:45:53

In the 10K, Chris Sachs, White Bear Lake,  won the Mens division in 49:14 and Melissa Mondo, Vadnais Heights, won the female division in 1:00:42.

The event was held in the Ice Age Trail.

A little snow didn’t slow down those who ran in the Cemstone Run For Others event today.

In the 10K, Zane Grabau won with 34:10 and Pam Weier in 41:42.  In the 5K, the carlson family took home 2 gold medals.  Andrew Carlson won with 17:17 and Laura Carlson won the female division in 21:41.

The event was organized by the St. Andrews Running club and help in Mahtomedi, Minnesota

The White Bear Lake Student Council put on a great event today.   Zack Przybylski place 1st in the male division with a time of 20:48.   Corey Johnson won the wmens division with 23:29.   Proceeds fro todays race go to the White Bear Lake Educational Foundation Angel Fund.   Complete results can be found at angeldashresults2011

A beautiful morning lead to fast times at the Strive Scholarship 5K and 10K runs on Saturday April 2, 2011.

In the 5K, Chris Sak won the mens division in 18:29 and Pam Weir won the Womens division in 21:04.

In the 10K, Brendon O’Flanigan won the Mens division in 36:59 and Gloria Tessier won the Womens division in 53:09

Every Year, the White Bear Rotary Club and the Strive Scholarship Organization challenge high school seniors with a low in their Grade Point Average with an opportunity to win college scholarship by raising that GPA.   Three races are held during the year to raise money for this scholarship.   The first race, the Strive Scholarship 5K/10K   is this Saturday, April 2 at 9:00 a.m. starting and finishing at West Park in White Bear Lake.   FrontRunner Events is proud to contribute equipment and timing services for all Strive events.   Information on the Strive 5K/10K can be found at http://www.frontrunnerusa.com/event/strive-scholarship-5k-and-10k/

Vacation Sports changed its name on March 10, 2011 to FrontRunner.   As we move into the future, 2 different branches of FrontRunner will become obvious to our customers.

The first is FrontRunner Events.   This represents all that we do in the events world – from hosting events, rental of event equipment, timing/results services, and a multitude of other business related things we do in the event world.

The second is FrontRunner Promotions.   This includes our screen printing, embroidery and promotional products.   Put your image or logo on a shirt, hat, water bottle, pens or just about anything.
