FrontRunner Events is excited to announce that the St. Paul Triathlon sprint course, held at Lake Phalen Regional Park August 17, 2014, has been selected as the Minnesota qualifying event for the 2015 National Senior Games.
The Senior Games represents a 19-sport, biennial competition for men and women 50 years and over, and is the largest multi-sport event in the world for seniors. The last national Senior Games were held in Cleveland, OH. The next National Senior Games will be July 3 – 16, 2015 in Bloomington/Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. Additional information about the Senior Games can be found at www.nsga.com. Registration for the St. Paul Triathlon opens November 29, 2013.

The final event of the 2013 Great White Bear Grand Prix was the Great Pumpkin Chase 10K last weekend. After 10 races throughout the the year, these are the standings of the 31st annual Great White Bear Grand Prix. Besides for a trophy, top three win 5 free entries, 3 free entries and 1 free entry respectively for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age group. Final 2013 results and Grand Prix information can be found at http://www.frontrunnerusa.com/our-events/all-events/white-bear-grand-grand-prix
The weather couldn’t have been sweeter for the Great Pumpkin Chase last weekend at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve. Kirk Dewindt and Leah Pustovar were the winners in the 10K and Bennett Isabella and Emma Handlos were the fist finishers in the 5K. 30 runners took the challege of running both events (double Up) and the overall finishers were Bennett Isabella and Tara Reddinger-Adams. Complete results can be found at http://www.frontrunnerusa.com/our-events/results.

Online registration for the Run for the Apples closes at midnight Thursday, October 17. So far we have over 600 racers! There will be race day registration on Saturday at Pine Tree Apple Orchard.
1st Annual Triathlon in Shell Lake, Wisconsin is Saturday July 27. The event will include a great lake to swim in, great roads to bike, great trails and roads to run. The multisport events is being organized by FrontRunner and the Shell Lake Lions Club. Shell Lake is located in the heart of the Wisconsin vacation world. Plan your week at the lake around this fun event. see who has already signed up - shell lake participant list 6-4.
